Men tend to consume a lot of calories late at night. According to the Grub Hub white paper, 55% of men are more likely to feel hungry in the middle of the night and start ordering food during the hours of 10 pm, and 2 am.

In case this happens to be one of your habits, you might need to consider changing it. Researchers found that there is a correlation between late-night eating and metabolic syndrome, and obesity. They also found that people with late-night eating habits worsen their glucose tolerance and reduce the level of fat their body burns.

Studies by Jonathan C. Jun, M.D, (et al.) of the Johns Hopkins University School Of Medicine in Baltimore showed that eating late in the evening can lead to consequences such as obesity and diabetes.
